Rome

I was reading an article about this old adage "Rome was not build in a day."  I think most of us have either heard this or have even said it.  The second part of the adage is seldom quoted: "but they were laying bricks every hour."  Baseball and your skills are the same.  Just like Rome if the goal is to be GREAT then we need to work on our craft everyday.  Too many players think that success will find them overnight.  STOP that thought. Let's go looking for success through attitude, effort, and hard work.  These are the things that character is built upon and my hope is that our boys grow up to be men of character.  And if we get to play this game that I love along the way, it's just a bonus.  

Let's build our ROME,
